Flagler Beach is gearing up for a vibrant 4th of July celebration with a parade and a host of festivities. Here’s what you can expect:

Parade Details

  • Date and Time: The parade will start on the morning of July 4th, with festivities continuing throughout the day.
  • Route: The parade will travel through the main streets of Flagler Beach, offering plenty of spots for spectators to enjoy the procession.

Festivities

  • Location: The celebration will continue at the Flagler County Airport and surrounding areas.
  • Gates Open: The airport gates will open at 5 p.m.
  • Special Events: Local officials will read the Declaration of Independence at 7 p.m., followed by a performance of the National Anthem.
  • Fireworks: The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.

Additional Activities

  • Vendors: A variety of food and drink vendors will be available. Glass bottles are prohibited.
  • Entertainment: The event will feature live music, a DJ, face painting, a trackless train, and small gift vendors.
  • Parking: Free parking is available at Flagler Palm Coast High School and designated airport areas. Carpooling is encouraged due to limited space.

Important Notes

  • Safety: The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and Palm Coast Public Works Department will manage traffic control and parking.
  • Accessibility: Portable restrooms and handwashing stations will be provided. Handicapped parking is available on the south side of the airport.

This year’s joint effort among Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, Bunnell, Beverly Beach, and Marineland aims to create a unified celebration that reflects community spirit and national pride​.
